My career spans diverse roles, from launching entrepreneurial ecosystems to scaling B2B startups. Each experience has sharpened my ability to evaluate opportunities, build trust with founders, and create sustainable growth pathways for early-stage companies.

I’m particularly fascinated by the rise of quantum-enhanced software applications and their potential to reshape industries like finance, logistics, and cybersecurity. Watching this space grow and identifying early leaders is incredibly exciting.

Biography

Megan Patel is an early-stage investor and venture builder with over 15 years of experience in innovation, design, and strategic leadership. She is currently a General Partner at Quantum Coast Capital, where she leverages her background in venture capital and entrepreneurship to identify emerging technologies and early-stage investment opportunities.

Previously, Megan led the Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program at Schmidt Futures, where she supported ventures that collectively raised $80 million in pre-seed funding. She has also served as the Head of Product at SwipeSense, a healthtech venture that was later acquired, and as Director of Innovation at Chicago Beyond, an initiative funded by the Guggenheim Foundation. Megan holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and studied International Economics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Megan’s experience in building entrepreneurial networks and her global perspective support her work with startups within Quantum Coast Capital’s portfolio, where she focuses on early-stage investments in the quantum technology sector.
