The mark
Download in SVG — scales to any size without loss. Use the supplied files as-is; never recreate, redraw, or substitute the wordmark.
Clear space & size
- Maintain clear space around the logo equal to the height of the “Q” on all sides.
- Minimum width: 120 px on screen, 1.25 in in print.
- Below that, use the lettermark instead of shrinking the full logo.
Please don’t
- Stretch, rotate, recolor, or apply effects to the mark.
- Place the primary logo on a dark or busy background — use the reversed version.
- Set the firm name in a substitute typeface in place of the logo.
- Lock the logo to another mark without written approval.

Lato and Unna
A deliberate pairing: a clean sans for structure, a warm serif for voice. Together they read institutional without feeling coldly technical.
Lato — primary
Aa
Body copy, navigation, interface, data, and labels. Weights: Light 300 for large display copy, Regular 400 for reading text, Bold 700 for emphasis and eyebrow labels.
Unna — secondary display
Aa
Headlines, section titles, pull quotes, and editorial headlines — where a warmer, more institutional voice is called for. Regular 400, with italic for pull quotes. Never for body copy, UI, or data.
Both are open-source and available from Google Fonts. Where neither is available, substitute Helvetica or Arial for Lato, and Georgia for Unna.
How we sound
Quantum Coast Capital operates as an operator, not an allocator — combining entrepreneurial execution with institutional finance discipline and scientific depth.
Brand essence
Own the Outcome. The firm builds the ecosystem from which returns emerge — state partnerships, physical infrastructure, academic pipelines, and hardware relationships. Emerging markets are not found; they are built.
Character
Precise, measured, and technically fluent. Confident without hyperbole. We describe quantum as a transition already underway, not as speculation — and we favor specifics over adjectives.
Belief
Better infrastructure makes better companies. The firm acts as a bridge between scientific discovery and the real economy — translating breakthroughs into industries, jobs, and lasting impact.
Write this way
- “Quantum Coast Capital” on first reference; “QCC” thereafter.
- “Early-stage venture firm” — not “fund manager” or “PE firm.”
- Attribute market figures to their source, with the date.
- Plain, declarative sentences. Technical terms spelled out.
Not this way
- No performance, return, or fundraising claims of any kind.
- No “revolutionary,” “game-changing,” or breathless futurism.
- No implying quantum replaces classical computing or AI.
- No stylizations of the name: not “QuantumCoast,” not “Q.C.C.”
