After Quantum Beach—Momentum Is Building on the Quantum Coast

Yesterday, West Palm Beach proved why it’s quickly earning the name the Quantum Coast.

Our inaugural Quantum Beach event brought together leaders from across the quantum ecosystem—industry, government, research, and investment—to discuss how the United States can unlock the next generation of technological capability. Hosted in partnership with the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County and The Quantum Insider, the gathering marked a defining moment for Florida’s emerging role in this rapidly accelerating field.

One theme came through clearly: the center of gravity in quantum technology is shifting, and South Florida is becoming an important part of that shift.

We were honored to welcome leading voices from across the quantum ecosystem—spanning hardware, software, networking, analytics, and next-generation sensing. These innovators are building the technologies that will define the field’s next decade, and their insights helped shape a meaningful, future-focused conversation.

A major milestone of the day was the historic MOU signing between Florida’s universities, reinforcing a unified commitment to advancing quantum education, research, and workforce development. This collaboration marks a critical step toward Florida establishing itself as a national leader in quantum science and technology.

We also celebrated a significant regional achievement with the announcement of Palm Beach State College’s new Quantum Center, a foundational development that will help train the quantum workforce and catalyze long-term industry growth in the region.

Across the event, we saw strong recognition from leaders across the state of Florida who understand the importance of preparing early for quantum-driven economic transformation. A region with deep technological roots—the birthplace of the original IBM PC—now has the opportunity to help guide the next wave of transformative computing.

For Quantum Coast Capital, this event reinforced our commitment to supporting the sector through investment, education, and strategic collaboration. We believe strong ecosystems accelerate breakthroughs, and we are proud to help build one here in the United States.

We want to extend our sincere thanks to our speakers, partners, the BDB, and everyone who participated. The conversations sparked yesterday won’t end here—they mark the beginning of what’s next.

As we look ahead, we remain focused on advancing the quantum economy in ways that strengthen U.S. leadership, support the national interest, and open doors for the next generation of innovators.

The momentum is real.
