The 2026 Year of Quantum Security (YQS2026) launched in Washington, D.C., convening federal agencies, industry leaders, financial institutions, and investors around a shared agenda: post-quantum cryptography, protection of quantum intellectual property, and resilience as quantum systems move toward operational use.

The distinction matters for how institutions plan. Data captured today can be stored and decrypted later, which makes migration timelines a present-tense risk rather than a future one. Post-quantum security is one of our core investment areas for exactly that reason.
