Palm Beach State College has secured more than $2 million in federal funding for a Quantum Innovation Center in downtown West Palm Beach. Combined with the $4.95 million awarded through the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund, total public investment in the project approaches $7 million. The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County received a further $1.03 million in companion funding for quantum coordination and workforce development.
The center will house advanced labs, co-working space, and Florida's first public Quantum Systems Certification Program. Quantum Coast Capital is among the private-sector partners working with the college and the Business Development Board to connect the region's research and corporate assets into a coherent technology corridor.
This is the kind of groundwork that decides whether a regional quantum economy materializes. Talent pipelines and shared infrastructure are prerequisites for the companies we back — which is why we work at the foundational level in the communities where those capabilities form.
